VITMEE Exam - Eligibility criteria for MCA and M.Tech programmes
VITMEE is an online exam conducted by VIT University for PG (Post Graduate) programmes. Only the eligible students can apply for the PG courses offered at VIT University. There are some eligibility criteria for MBA, MCA and M.Tech programmes. So lets us see in details about the Eligibility Criteria for MBA, MCA and M.Tech
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
Eligibility
- A minimum of 60% mark of First class is required in an undergraduate degree from a recognized University or Institution
- A Bachelor’s degree should be of a minimum of three years duration after completion of higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent
- The candidate should have studied in regular full-time programmes
- The candidates appearing for final year examination in 2019, whose results will be published before August 2019, are also eligible to apply
- Relevant work experience will be an added advantage
- The candidate should have taken any one of the tests- CAT/XAT/MAT/NMAT/GMAT/CMAT and the scores should be made available to the admissions office before the last date of application
Minimum Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have graduated with a full-time degree from any recognized University with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks or First class for MCA and M.Tech. degree programmes.
- Consistent Record in X Std. and XII Std. is required (For MCA Programme)
- Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates should have completed their final Semester/year exams before the counselling at VIT.
- It is compulsory for candidates selected to produce their final year marks statement and Provisional degree certificate before August 15th, failing which, their admission will stand cancelled.
